Designate someone to watch your home - You always have to be careful for watchers who know you have had your wedding. Designate someone to check on your house at least every day until you return from your honeymoon.

Upon return from honeymoon:
Arrange for gown to be cleaned and preserved - Make sure the provider is experienced in preserving wedding gowns.
Take a couple of extra days off to adjust to all changes, before going back to work, school, etc.
Within 2 months of your wedding, send out all thank-you-notes.
