After seeing about 15 banquet halls around glendale/LA area, i was really impressed when i came upon Monte Cristo...its gorgeous! the owner was very nice and accomadating. I loved how the large dance floor runs down the center of the hall, so everyone has easy access to the dance floor, and nobody feels like they're in the "back of the hall". the price is fantastic, the owner says because they are a family business they are able to give better prices. they allow smoking since they have a great ventilation system, which is very important for armenians and middle easterners. I really like how the lobby is on the second floor and the bride and groom have a choice to make a grand entrance down the stairs! the lobby is nice and cozy and there are restrooms on the top and bottom floor for handicap access. The menu is amazing and it they offer alot of selection and more unique variety than other halls i've seen. the lighting in the hall is also fantastic. i am definately planning on doing my wedding there as soon as i set a date! everything seems perfect but i wish someone can tell me how the food and service is there. the owner guaranteed that the service is excellent and under his constant supervision since he has a top story office overlooking the hall, and promised that the food would be exceptional since his wife was the head chef. I really liked how the owner made himself available to me at any time, even out of their regular hours. and it also helps that his daughter does wedding cakes (which are gorgeous by the way, i saw her portfolio), and he owns a limo service, which he said he can give great deal on. he seems to be pretty flexible, and its great to find many services in one convenient location to be less stressful to the bride and groom. i really hope they dont dissapoint me, does anyone have any comments on this hall that can help me?
