Do you know why Armenians say it's not good to get married in May?

Here is some info i got on our twitter account from @ArmenianKitchen Armenian Cookbook  .......May was a month for religious ceremony and purification that honored the dead. Not that compatible with marriage.

great research admin (Lala)! I had never heard of May being a bad month for weddings. Actually, many Armenians try not to get married around Easter. Any month is a great month!

May is very common month to get married. there may have been reasons in the past (very long ago) to not get married in May or other certain times, however, there are no such ideas at this time. The Church has no issues marrying those who want to get married in May!
