Engagement Ceremonies durning Lent?

Hi, I am aware that the Armenian Church does not allow weddings during lent (40 days before Easter) but I was wondering if they allow engagement ceremonies? I am looking into having a traditional engagement at a banquet hall (with the priest's blessing) and the day we chose falls during lent. Thank you!!

Confirmed by St. Mary's Apostolic Church in Glendale CA, Only Christenings are allowed during that period of time.
