On Engagement invitations do the girls and guys parents name's go on the card?

Hi Susan,
I am curious to know what information goes on an engagement invitation?  When it comes to the girls parents and the guys do we put both parties parents name's?

Very similar to a wedding invitation, both parents' names are on the engagement invitation as well.  Everything else remains the same listing just the location of the engagement and of course leaving out the church details.  Many couples like to make it more casual and end up making an invitation that is more friendly and less formal.  Have fun with it!

I see many of my clients not put parents names these days and instead invite for the guests to join in the celebration of the couple's engagement, just using the name of the guy and girl. It's a preference... whatever you like!
