The Groom's House

The Groom's HouseThe daily celebration is started by gathering at the Groom's house and assisting the Groom to get ready for his 'Big Day'.

Usually, close relatives of the Groom, the Best-Man and Maid-of-Honor (along with close relatives of theirs) attend. In some Armenian traditions, the Best-Man and Maid-of Honor do not attend the Groom's house. Instead, the Groom including his family and relatives attend the Best-Man and Maid-of-Honor's house to assist them in getting ready.

At the Groom's house, no particular agenda is followed, just eating, drinking, and extending well wishes to the Groom.

A photographer (one out of the two or many) attends the Groom's house to capture his preparation for the day. Once the Groom is dressed, him and his guests get prepared to pick up the Bride from her house or to meet her at the church.
